Cool living pixels

I found a cool image effect. It’s looks like it is inspired by the Game of Life, which has been around for ages. The pixels are initially placed at a random position, then they try to find their way to their own correct position. Unfortunally, some pixels never seem to find their way home because they are being blocked by other pixels.
